Opening August 29th
Palouse Ridge Golf Club at Washington State University, a new 18-hole championship-level golf course on the Pullman campus, is scheduled to open to the public August 29, 2008. The 7,000 square foot clubhouse at the center of the course, with expansive views of the Palouse hills, is planned to open in early August. The planned building includes a pro shop, lounge area and dining facilities for up to 100 people, as well as outdoor terraces.
Palouse Ridge Golf Club will serve as the home course for the nationally ranked Cougar men’s and women’s golf teams and host students, faculty, the Palouse community, and visitors from throughout the Northwest. Additionally, the new course will create opportunities to host NCAA, Pac-10, and other local, state, and regionally sanctioned golf tournaments in Pullman. The new course will also become a catalyst for economic development in the region, potentially serving as a centerpiece for a hotel/conference center, growing research enterprises, and other local and regional economic opportunities.
The practice facility is now open and welcomes you to the beautiful grass tee practice area, putting green, and 80-yard practice hole. Sharpen all of your shots at this state-of-the-art facility designed for the Washington State University Golf Teams and you! Open every day 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
